Leonard Ryden Burr cares about historic properties and the communities which value them. From the colonial homes in Old Salem to the gingerbreads which sprang up in the late 19th/early 20th century industrial age, to the mid-century moderns to the stately mansions found in our many neighborhoods, historic properties continue to be a source of pride for Winston-Salem. We as an agency encourage the preservation and adaptive reuse of these irreplaceable gems.
